Opaque Random Tokens

QR codes encode only a cryptographically random, 256-bit opaque URL. No medical records, names, database IDs, or credentials are ever encoded inside the QR.

Static QR, Mutable Data

Physical QR wristbands or cards are generated once. When medications or emergency contacts are updated in the dashboard, the existing physical QR continues working immediately.

Controlled Disclosure

Anonymous QR scans disclose strictly emergency-approved items. Sensitive medical history, private clinical notes, and home addresses remain protected and restricted to authenticated caregivers.

Least Privilege

Level 0: Identification

Display name, emergency assistance alert, photo.

Level 1: Emergency

Critical allergies, conditions, medications, one-tap emergency contact.

Level 2: Trusted Access

Attending physicians and extended medical care contacts.

Level 3: Caregiver/Owner

Complete medical history, private notes, home location, and QR revocation.
